As we tearfully congregated at Kilkerran
Cemetery , overlooking the beautiful Davaar Island, the wind and rain were
bitterly cold. The many mourners huddled together for respite, and just as we
lowered Louise the rain subsided and bright sunshine flooded the scene.
Our collective eyes were drawn north to a
truly magical sight. A full arc double
rainbow stretching over the island and all the way into Campbeltown
itself. An awesome sight that brought
joyous smiles to every upturned face.
As our helium filled balloons were released
the wind whisked them away at great speed, but they swirled briefly, reversing
and sweeping low over our heads i apparent farewell, before setting off on
their final journey to the heavens.
A fitting farewell to a very special young
woman who left many treasured memories and many broken hearts behind.
We love you baby girl, and always will. Xxx
